A system of 400mm-diameter pipes connected to a 7m constant head tower, located outside the laboratory space. Water is pumped in the tower from an underground reservoir using four pumps. The maximum discharge that can be achieved in the closed conduits in the laboratory connected to the tower is 1000m³/hr. The closed conduits are equipped with several outlets, through which water can be supplied to hydraulic models installed (located) on the laboratory’s floor. The flowrate discharge in this system of closed conduits can be monitored using fixed Venturi meters.
